Terms of Use

1. Use of the App

Alarm App provides alarms, optional wake-up missions, soundscapes, and a night clock.

You may use the app for lawful personal purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable App Store rules. You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms or use the app with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required.

The app is licensed, not sold. Your use is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement where applicable.

2. Alarm Reliability

Alarm operation depends on your device, permissions, settings, operating system, and hardware. Alarm App cannot guarantee that every alarm or reminder will sound or that it will wake you.

You are responsible for checking that alarms are enabled, granting necessary permissions, and testing your device’s alarm volume and audio output. A powered-off device, depleted battery, revoked permission, software issue, or other device condition may prevent expected operation.

Some advanced schedules require you to reopen the app periodically to maintain future alarm registrations.

Use an independent backup alarm when missing an alarm could have serious consequences. Alarm App is not an emergency alert system or a service intended for safety-critical use.

3. Missions and Personal Safety

Missions are optional wake-up activities. They do not prevent you from using available iOS alarm controls, and completing a mission does not prove that you are fully awake.

Choose missions suitable for your abilities and surroundings. Do not perform movement missions while driving, on stairs, in unsafe conditions, or when movement causes discomfort. Use an available alternative or stop the mission if needed.

Use a comfortable audio volume and avoid exposing yourself or others to excessively loud sound.

Alarm App does not provide medical advice, diagnose sleep conditions, or replace professional care.

4. Your Content

You retain your rights to audio files, photos, text, and other content you add to the app.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use that content. Do not import, reproduce, or share material in a way that infringes another person’s copyright, privacy, or other rights.

You are also responsible for protecting your device and any exported or shared files. We do not provide a hosted backup or recovery service for your local content.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Use the app for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to disrupt the app or its supporting services.
• Manipulate advertisements or generate fraudulent advertising activity.
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Copy, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app except where permitted by law or applicable licenses.

6. Advertising and Third-Party Services

Alarm App displays advertisements provided by third parties. Advertising availability and content may vary.

An advertisement or external link does not constitute our endorsement of the advertiser or its products. Transactions and interactions with third parties are governed by their own terms and policies.

7. Intellectual Property

The app’s software, branding, and original content belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

Third-party components and licensed assets remain subject to their respective licenses. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights granted by applicable open-source or other third-party licenses.

8. Updates and Availability

We may update, modify, or discontinue features as the app develops. Features may depend on a compatible device, operating-system version, permissions, or third-party service availability.

We do not promise uninterrupted availability or indefinite support for every device or app version. Changes remain subject to applicable consumer rights.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Alarm App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties concerning uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or suitability for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app, including consequences of missed alarms or loss of local data.

These Terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, and they do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

10. Ending Use

You may stop using Alarm App at any time. Before deleting it, turn off alarms and reminders that you no longer want and preserve any content you wish to keep.

We may take reasonable steps to address unlawful use or material breaches of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

11. Privacy

Information handling is described in the Alarm App Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand local storage, device permissions, and advertising-related data processing.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and will revise the date above. Material changes will receive additional notice where required.

Your continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Applicable Law and Your Rights

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Any mandatory consumer protections, privacy rights, and rights to bring a claim in a competent court remain unaffected.
