1. Information used by the App
The App may use information about speakers and devices on your local network to discover, connect to, and control compatible speakers. This may include speaker identifiers, group information, playback status, volume, and information about the audio currently playing.
If you choose to connect a Sonos account, the App uses Sonos authorization to access the speakers and features you permit. The connection uses an anonymous Firebase identifier to associate your authorization with your App session. Sonos access and refresh tokens are stored on our server and used to make authorized requests to Sonos. The App does not ask you to enter your Sonos password.
If you grant microphone access, the App uses microphone audio for recording or live streaming to a speaker you select. Recordings you choose to save are stored on your device. When you play local audio or stream microphone audio to a speaker, that audio is made available to the selected speaker over your local network for playback.
The App may access audio files or music you choose to use with its playback features. It does not access your microphone or music library without the relevant device permission or your action.
2. How we use information
We use this information to provide speaker discovery and control, Sonos account connection, playback, recording, and live audio features; to maintain the security and operation of those features; and to respond to support requests you send us.
3. Services involved
The App uses Google Firebase for anonymous authentication and backend services. If you connect a Sonos account, the App and its backend communicate with Sonos to authorize your connection and carry out your speaker commands. These providers process information as needed to deliver their services and under their own privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Storage and retention
Saved recordings are stored on your device until you delete them or remove the App, subject to your device’s backup settings. Sonos connection credentials are stored on our backend while your Sonos account remains connected. Disconnecting your Sonos account in the App removes the stored credentials for that connection. Temporary authorization records may remain for a limited period for security and operation of the connection process.
5. Your choices
You can control microphone and media-library permissions in your device settings. You can delete saved recordings in the App and disconnect your Sonos account. You may contact us at contact@dld.asia to ask about information associated with your use of the App or to request its deletion, subject to applicable requirements.
6. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App and its backend. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
7. Children
The App is not intended for children to use without the involvement of a parent or guardian.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or our practices change. The updated version will show a new effective date.
