These Terms of Use govern your use of WatchDoc and its companion application, where available (collectively, “the App”), provided by DLD Innovation Company Limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App. If you cannot legally enter into this agreement independently, you must obtain any permission required from your parent or legal guardian.
1. License and Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms and applicable App Store usage rules, you may use the App on compatible devices that you own or control. The App is licensed, not sold.
You must not use the App for unlawful purposes, infringe another person’s rights, bypass purchase restrictions or security controls, or distribute unauthorized copies.
Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and relevant open-source licenses.
2. Your Content
You retain ownership of the documents, notes, images, and other content you use with the App.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to import, copy, convert, transfer, and share that content.
You are also responsible for deciding whether the App is suitable for your confidential or sensitive information and for keeping independent backups of important files.
3. Document Conversion and Accuracy
Document conversion, text recognition, search, and rendering may produce errors or incomplete results.
Converted documents may differ from their originals in layout, fonts, tables, charts, formulas, annotations, interactive elements, or other content.
Verify important information against the original document. Keep the original file when accuracy or formatting matters.
4. Compatibility and Transfers
Features depend on compatible hardware, operating-system support, available storage, permissions, and device connectivity.
Transfers to Apple Watch may be delayed or interrupted by system scheduling, pairing status, or connection conditions. A document is available for offline reading on a companion device only after its transfer and installation have completed.
The App does not provide a guaranteed backup or recovery service.
5. Purchases and Subscriptions
The App may offer paid features, one-time purchases, or subscriptions. The purchase screen identifies the included benefits, price, billing period, and any applicable trial conditions.
Payments are processed through your Apple Account after confirmation. Auto-renewing subscriptions continue unless canceled before renewal.
If a free or discounted trial is offered, it converts to the paid subscription described on the purchase screen unless canceled within the stated period.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Cancellation generally stops future renewals, with access ordinarily continuing until the current paid period ends, subject to Apple’s terms and applicable law.
One-time purchases do not renew automatically. Eligible purchases may be restored using the same Apple Account through the restoration options provided by the App.
Refund requests for purchases billed by Apple are handled through Apple’s refund process, subject to eligibility and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer refund rights.
6. Advertisements and External Services
The App may display third-party advertisements or links to external services.
Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Displaying an advertisement or link does not constitute our endorsement of the advertised product or service.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in connection with the App, including local document processing, advertising services, permissions, and privacy choices.
8. Intellectual Property
Except for your content and materials governed by third-party licenses, rights in the App’s software, design, branding, and related materials belong to us or our licensors.
Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.
9. Availability and Updates
We may update the App or change features to address compatibility, security, performance, or product needs.
We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available on every device or operating system. Changes affecting paid access remain subject to the purchase terms presented to you and applicable consumer law.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free conversion, complete compatibility, or recovery of lost content.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the App, including lost profits or losses resulting from reliance on inaccurate converted content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Apple App Store Terms
Your use of the App is also subject to applicable Apple App Store terms and usage rules.
Unless a separate valid custom license agreement applies, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement governs the software license. It is available at www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
12. Ending Use
You may stop using the App at any time.
Before deleting it, export any content you want to retain and separately cancel any active subscription if you do not want it to renew.
Rights and obligations that by their nature should continue will survive the end of your use.
13. Changes to These Terms
Updated Terms will be published with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
Changes do not remove rights you have already acquired under applicable law or existing purchase commitments.
